Medicap Pharmacy is locally owned in the Cave Spring area of Roanoke County for 16 years. Store hours are M-F 9-7 and Sat 9-2 closed Sun.

Part-time pharmacist 25 to 30 hours per week.

Main duties include, but are not limited to: providing great customer service, checking/verifying prescriptions, managing pharmacy personnel, interacting with physicians, administering immunizations, taking blood pressures.

Skills and experience:

Customer relations skills with capability to effectively understand customers and employees inquires.
Knowledge of laws (state and federal) governing pharmacy and third party plans.
High degree of initiative and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Interperonal skills including building relationships (we know patients by name) .
Ability to resolve conflicts.

Job Requirements
Education, training, experience:
Excellent communication skills (people person)
Great attitude.
Certified to administer immunizations and cpr.
Able to do blood pressures.
Degree in Pharmacy (BS or PharmD)
Virginia pharmacist license in good standing.
